Hundreds of Employers and Job Seekers Turn Out For CT Department of Labor and Hartford Athletic 6th Annual Hiring Expo
“Today’s Hiring Expo creates conversations, interest, and networks between employers and job seekers. In many ways, job fairs help overcome some of the communication barriers that AI advances have introduced. Meeting face-to-face is a personal approach that helps both job seekers and employers gauge opportunities,” CTDOL Deputy Commissioner Mark Polzella said. “CTDOL thanks Bruce Mandell and Hartford Athletic for hosting us today, as well as the Expo sponsors and all the employers who made this part of their recruitment plan.”

The Hiring Expo runs until 2 p.m.; job seekers are not required to register to attend. All job seekers in attendance received a free ticket to a Hartford Athletic home match. Major Hiring Expo sponsors include the Connecticut Department of Transportation; M&T Bank; All Waste, Inc; Right at Home; Greater Hartford Gives Foundation; Obey the Orange; USA Waste & Recycling; and Dattco.
